The journey continues...

As I received my results a few days ago, life for me kind of hit rock bottom. I failed one of my module… Didn’t really had time to reflect on how I can be seeking God in this area, but continued to dwell upon the problem itself.
As I was just doing my QT earlier, a few verses spoke to me.
It was as though God was telling me through Proverbs 4:20-27 that all I needed was my bible and me… a personal retreat to seek God in the silent… To be honest, seeking God has hardly been my top priority these days… Been really running on my own strength… until my battery’s flat, than I would turn to God for help.
It was quite hilarious how God spoke to me through 1 Peter 4:7. The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
Had I looked into the Bible for answers, I won’t have to go through the turmoil of grieving over the results. Indeed the end of my poly days is near… Many assignment datelines to meet… Must say that I’ve been really stressed even in China… thought that it would be a stress-free kind of trip… haha… nah… wrong thinking man… lol…
Prayer… When was the last time I earnestly seek God and prayed to him, not asking him for anything, but just adoring his name? As I prayed, did I come to God with a clear and self-controlled mind? Or was I sleepy, thinking that prayer was just a mandate thing that I do on a daily basis?

Thank God for rooftop experience here in China… Remembered that I was just having my bible, at the rooftop of my hostel, praying to God about the problem that seemed the world to me… God did not answer me… Expected a prompt reply actually… at least a comforting “I know what is going on my child, have faith in me” Probably God did told me those words… but as I was praying, I wasn’t having a clear mind with me… and simply wasn’t self-controlled… didn’t know when to stop talking to God… but just continued ranting to God about my problem, as if he doesn’t already know.
Was just reflecting upon my life… times when I felt really down… and how I always handled each situation… and there is a trend… I never seem to learn from my mistakes!!! Probably that’s why when such a thing happens, I don’t know how to handle… back to square one…
Time to grow up Jun Ming… Learn from your mistakes…

Prayer Pointers:
1. Consistent QT here in China.
2. Complete my IS module Powerpoint.
3. Complete my FYP.
4. Concentrate on God above everything else that I’m doing.
